On Saturday Sue, Sherry Gossman and Caleb looked in the backyard of our very suburban home and saw this! This is one of four deer that they saw in the backyard looking like they totally belonged. Pretty bizzare!

That reminds me of my childhood in the woods in Maryland. We had wild animals in our backyrd all the time. Deer, racoons, rabbits, snakes (YUCK!), ducks. you name it we had it. We even saw a wild turkey once when I was about 11. The deer do look like they belong in your yard! Wonder if he wants to play with the football.

I was out driving through Cress Creek one evening a few winters ago, and I saw a lawn ornament of a deer that was ridiculously close to the sidewalk. Oh, wait, it wasn't plastic...
