I've been doing quite a bit of traveling lately - last week I was speaking in Atlanta, Houston and San Diego. However this weekend I'm in Terre Haute, Indiana and it is not about me. I'm here to watch Josh and a his cross country team run in the Nike Cross National Midwest Championships. Last year they competed in the National Junior Olympics held at Kansas State University. Josh will be running with the sophomore team; but at the varsity level the top two team winners and top five individual winners get a paid trip to the Nike Cross National Championship in Portland, Oregon. Last year Neuqua Valley not only won this region, but won the national championship. Neuqua Valley is again one of the top ranked teams in the region and has a shot at going to the nationals. Should be a fun (but cold) day!
